Volunteering has many benefits. According to the Senior Community Services and Reimagine Aging Institute volunteering helps seniors stay physically active, prevents seniors depression and isolation, helps bridge the generation gap, and keep retired members of the community in good mental health.

Part of the Senior Activity Club mission is providing volunteer opportunities for our seniors. They are greatly involved in different projects such as local 5K runs, Holiday events organized by the City of Lynn Haven, National Wreaths Across America event, community clean ups after Hurricane Michael disaster and many more.

On the other hand the Club is always looking for volunteers to help them organize different activities and events. We welcome Bingo callers, speakers for educational workshops, volunteer-drivers to transport us to field trips and out-of-town events.
